Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout office areas, production spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas, verifying credentials and supporting visitor processing in accordance with site policies and technology-focused workplace protocols.
  • Support daily operations at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location by communicating clearly with employees, guests, and contractors, and assisting with security-related requests and incident follow-up as needed.
