Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government transit location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and activities according to post guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public spaces to help support authorized access practices and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Interact professionally with passengers, visitors, and staff while providing directions, answering questions, and helping to address security-related concerns at the location.
