Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff while following site-specific procedures and assigned security-related duties.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe building activity, and document incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site expectations.
  • Support emergency response activities for the location, including assisting with evacuations, access control, and direction of occupants during unusual events.
