Join Allied Universal as a driving Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine activity throughout the location, and contribute to security-related operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured areas, and conditions that may require attention.
• Support workforce and visitor traffic flow by communicating site rules, directing individuals to designated check-in areas, and reporting maintenance and/or access issues that could impact daily operations.
