Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to retail store clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for employees, vendors, and deliveries, and maintain visitor and contractor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail sales areas, stockrooms, receiving areas, employee entrances, and the surrounding perimeter, as assigned.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns by maintaining a professional presence and reporting suspicious activity.
