As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and documentation.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Help to deter unauthorized entry by observing personnel and vehicle traffic, screening deliveries according to site procedures, and reporting unusual activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, employee entrances, visitor areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
