As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors with outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations and/or concerns. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and timely notification to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior areas such as lobbies, teller lines, offices and common areas and/or around exterior approaches and parking areas as directed by post orders.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management per site procedures, including verifying identification and directing visitors to appropriate areas.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence, observing behavior and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
Perform access control and key control tasks as assigned, including checking doors, gates and restricted areas for signs of tampering and/or irregularities.
Operate and monitor security-related systems when assigned, which may include CCTV, alarms and communication equipment, and report abnormal conditions.
Document and report activities, incidents, hazards and maintenance concerns using required reports and/or electronic systems, with accurate and timely entries.
Provide assistance during medical situations, fire alarms, suspicious packages, robbery alarms and/or other emergencies by following post orders, coordinating with responders and supporting orderly site operations.
Interact professionally with staff, customers, vendors and law enforcement as needed to support site policies and a positive customer experience.
