About The Position

As a Security Officer - Bank Rover Driver in Normandy, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a financial services location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related issues, and assist with access control and visitor guidance. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to cover assigned areas and respond to calls for service. Bring strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, lobbies, corridors, and exterior perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and assist with visitor check-in and/or badge processes in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to supervisors and/or client representatives, and follow post orders and Allied Universal policies.
