Job Description As a Security Officer - Bank Rover in Tempe, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver customer service with professionalism. Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and controlled areas, verifying authorization for entry, issuing visitor credentials when required, and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
Observe and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, and/or policy violations, and promptly notify site leadership and/or appropriate responders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance with de-escalation and coordinating with management and/or local authorities as needed.
Complete detailed shift activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation according to Allied Universal and location requirements.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other security-related systems when assigned, and take appropriate action based on established post orders.
Assist with opening and/or closing procedures, including checking doors, windows, and restricted areas for proper status.
Provide a visible presence in high-traffic areas such as lobbies, ATM areas, and customer service zones to help to deter misconduct and support an orderly environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and visitors, using radios, phones, and/or written logs to relay relevant information.
