As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe activity, document concerns, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering a welcoming customer experience. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and key areas, observe for policy violations or unusual conditions, and assist with maintaining orderly movement in and around the facility.
• Complete required reports such as patrol logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to the site supervisor and/or incoming shift.
