As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with professional customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with your team, and respond to situations with integrity. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points and lobby areas, greet and assist visitors, and support badge and/or sign-in processes in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate personnel as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance, lighting, and access concerns.
  • Complete shift reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and support compliance with post orders and banking procedures.
