As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and/or defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site representatives and/or emergency services as required.
  • Monitor and control entry and exit points by verifying credentials, logging arrivals and departures, and directing visitors and deliveries according to post orders.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts, and follow chain-of-command and escalation procedures.
