Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access at entry and exit points by checking credentials, visitor logs, badges, and/or delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor people, vehicles, and/or restricted areas for unusual activity and report incidents or policy concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and/or critical situations with professionalism, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, which may include industrial and chemical processing areas, to help support security-related operations.
