As a Security Officer Part Time Armed Rounds in Bronx, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Requirements

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local management and/or law enforcement when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible presence, attentive observation, and timely reporting of security-related concerns, while following all post orders and armed assignment guidelines.
