Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel, contractors, and vendors entering restricted areas, following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report concerns through established channels.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other security-related documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
