As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and assist employees and visitors with clear communication and customer-focused service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific, security-related procedures and post orders at an aerospace and defense location.
• Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying identification, supporting badging and credential checks, and documenting visitor and contractor activity.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interiors, exteriors, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to alarms, calls for service, and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed.
• Complete shift logs, patrol documentation, and incident reports, and communicate observations and status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
