As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication, including during sensitive situations. Requirements

Be able to work in a hospital environment where vaccines are present.
Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to restrain individuals.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards, suspicious behavior, or policy violations.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management processes, including greeting, directing, and verifying authorized entry in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical-related standbys, and/or alarm activations, and coordinate notifications to site leadership and public responders as needed.
Complete security-related reports and logs, document observations and actions taken, and communicate relevant information to oncoming officers and site representatives.
