As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will observe activity, document findings, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while responding to calls for assistance. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, and perimeter routes as assigned.
- Monitor access points, check credentials, and log visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
- Complete routine reports and maintain accurate records of patrols, observations, and incident response per Allied Universal and site guidelines.
