Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing location where you will manage access control at key entry points, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and support visitor and truck check-in. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing temporary badges when directed, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing arrivals to the proper check-in areas.
  • Monitor and report security-related activity using cameras, alarms, radios, phones, and access control systems, escalating concerns per post orders and documenting actions taken.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or public response resources as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry, identify unusual conditions, and report maintenance or security-related concerns.
