Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, maintaining visitor logs, and following site-specific authorization procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
