Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a healthcare location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocol.
Document daily activities, access-related events, and unusual occurrences, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns and reporting issues as appropriate.
