About The Position

As a Security Officer - Overnight Patrols in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support the screening of personnel, vendors, and/or deliveries entering the location.
• Document routine activities, unusual conditions, and/or maintenance or hazard concerns, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
