About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in Arlington, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports while communicating relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
