As a Security Officer - Overnight Facility Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify hazards, policy concerns, and other security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials where required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment areas, and/or material storage locations.
• Complete routine reports, incident notes, and shift activity logs, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.
