As a Security Officer - Overnight Access Control in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a resort location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a resort environment.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to site leadership according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including guest areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity across the location to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or disturbances involving guests, vendors, or visitors.
• Support a welcoming atmosphere by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and documenting security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns encountered during the shift.
