As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced healthcare location supporting vaccine services, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and service needs, and report concerns clearly and promptly. Requirements

  • Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, and requests for assistance from clinical and facility teams.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting concerns and/or hazards to the appropriate department while following post orders.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and shift activities in required reports and communicate key information during shift handoff to support continuity of coverage.
