As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and service requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and site contacts. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe CCTV and/or alarm systems as assigned, and assist with visitor sign-in, badge control, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and emergency services when appropriate.
- Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity in written reports and/or electronic logs, and promptly notify supervision of concerns requiring follow-up.
