You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to alarms and service requests, and document observations with clear communication. You will also support access control and provide customer service with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, assist with badge control, and help to maintain orderly entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete routine reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol observations, and communicate relevant information during shift changes and/or as directed.
