You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access needs, and employee and visitor questions with strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, loading and delivery areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and building systems such as alarms, cameras, and badging processes as assigned, reporting unusual activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, coordinating with site contacts, and contacting local emergency services when directed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift communications in a timely manner, and/or escalate issues to Allied Universal supervision and site management per post orders.
