As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, support access control and badge checks, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and document activity with professionalism. Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns to location leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, unsecured doors, and unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, provide directions, and assist with entry processes and/or badge verification in accordance with location protocols.
  • Complete written and electronic reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate status updates during shift change and/or as requested by supervision.
