As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at industrial operations and cultural destinations, completing routine rounds, staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding to alarms and service requests. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support a welcoming experience. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed at industrial and public-facing cultural locations.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, galleries, offices, loading docks, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Control access by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in, issuing temporary credentials when directed, and directing guests and deliveries to the appropriate location.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, access control, alarms, and fire panels, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or responding personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document activities in daily logs and incident reports, and coordinate with emergency services when required.
