Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report observations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity to help support authorized access and follow location policies for deliveries, guests, and/or vendors.
• Assist with security-related reports, shift activity logs, and pass-down communication while maintaining professionalism in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
