As a Security Officer - Morning Mobile Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment through routine vehicle patrols, visible presence, and responsive customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will communicate professionally with residents and visitors, report security-related concerns, and support a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to residential community incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and follow-up information to appropriate personnel.
