As an unarmed patrol officer at a high-end retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support store teams and guests with clear communication and service. You will complete routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, and use Allied Universal tools to document key details. Requirements

Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with store leadership and/or public responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors, stock areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support loss prevention efforts.
Monitor access points and customer traffic flow, assisting with crowd management, line control, and/or closing procedures according to site-specific direction.
Complete reports for incidents, observations, and policy violations, and communicate key information to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives.
