As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

Requirements

  • Possess at least six months of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements and applicable protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
