Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following site-specific policies, monitoring for security-related concerns, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, exits, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee movement, and document unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations for follow-up.
• Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and helping address security-related issues in high-traffic guest areas.
