As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Port Arthur, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor access points, verify entry and exit activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Support routine operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation in a timely manner.
