Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor site activity, observe people and vehicles entering and leaving the location, and report suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or operational concerns.
• Support access control and visitor processing by verifying credentials, following post orders, and communicating clearly with site contacts, drivers, employees, and/or guests.
