In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support site access awareness while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public service and automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, service bays, lots, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
• Support traffic flow and parking lot oversight by observing vehicle activity, assisting with directions, and communicating with site personnel regarding security-related concerns.
