About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Bay City, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior in accordance with post instructions.
Assist with security-related incident reporting, customer assistance, and/or de-escalation efforts while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
