About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver - Upscale Residential Apartments in Brea, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving position involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to concerns, and providing exceptional customer service and communication to residents and guests. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and vendor activity, and assist with enforcing site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
