As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Madison, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the office, lobby, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee movement within the location, following established protocols for entry, escort requirements, and/or incident documentation.
  • Support day-to-day operations at a financial services location by reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns, and completing required logs and reports in a timely manner.
