About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Grandville, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic retail and mall location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and tenants with exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with team members. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Bring integrity, reliability, and a people-first mindset while working collaboratively in an agile, innovative culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and daily observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
