Job Description As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Agent in Kissimmee, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors through strong communication and customer service. Requirements
- Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, corridors, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, observe daily operations, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
- Complete routine logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while following post orders and Allied Universal standards for the location.
