Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring travel throughout the property to help support security-related operations and help to deter incidents. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior by maintaining a visible presence and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and supervisors.
• Monitor the location for security-related issues such as loitering, access concerns, and/or after-hours activity while supporting a professional environment for customers and employees.
