Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist staff and visitors, and communicate professionally while reporting concerns. Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate areas of the facility.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
