About The Position

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for all personnel. This is a driving post, and you will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas, addressing incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service, all while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and people-first care.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity within a manufacturing and industrial environment. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel as outlined in site procedures.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by site policies.
