About The Position

Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to provide safety and security at an office community. The Security Officer will patrol the property, monitor for suspicious activity, respond to resident concerns, and ensure a safe, quiet environment for all tenants during overnight hours.

Requirements

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or customer service preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to remain alert and professional throughout overnight shifts.
• Capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods.
• Must possess a valid security license or guard card.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with residential or community environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking lots, and building entrances.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or policy violations, and take appropriate action.
• Respond promptly to noise complaints, disturbances, or resident concerns, de-escalating situations when possible.
• Secure doors, gates, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Document all incidents and observations in detailed written reports.
• Work closely with property management and law enforcement if issues arise.
• Provide visible presence to deter trespassing, vandalism, or other safety risks.
