Job Description As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Front Desk Support in Newton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing access control to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, monitor alarm panels, and support daily operations with professionalism and integrity. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist employees, visitors, and contractors at the front desk, providing a high level of customer service while adhering to site-specific security-related procedures and protocols.
Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry or activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of visitor and contractor check-ins and check-outs, as well as other security-related documentation as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Communicate security-related information and observations to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as needed.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including alerting appropriate personnel and coordinating with first responders as directed.
Operate and monitor security-related systems such as access control, CCTV, and alarm panels at the front desk, reporting any irregularities or malfunctions.
