About The Position

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Facility Patrol in Henderson, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, building access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
